TL;DR
Business Development Executive (Fintech): Driving growth within the merchant payments and fintech space by acquiring and managing SMB clients with an accent on payment processing and POS solutions. Focus on conducting in-person field sales, territory management, and closing new business with small and mid-sized merchants.
Location: Must reside within the defined territory (Portland, Oregon); requires being in the field at least 75% of the time.
Salary: Base $50,000, OTE $120,000+

What you will do
- Prospect and close new business with small and mid-sized merchants.
- Sell payment processing, POS, and related fintech solutions.
- Conduct in-person and outbound sales activity within the assigned territory.
- Manage leads, opportunities, and customer data using Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas.
Requirements
- Must reside within the defined territory (Portland, OR).
- 1+ years of outside or field sales experience.
- Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.
- Experience selling SaaS, POS, payments, merchant services, or fintech solutions.
Nice to have
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience selling specifically to SMB clients.
- Deep industry knowledge of merchant services and payment processing systems.
