What you will do

• Assess FQHC finance department performance using data, KPIs, and industry benchmarks.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve financial operations, revenue cycle performance, and profitability.
• Partner with executive leaders (CEOs, CFOs) to identify operational gaps and deliver practical solutions.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, including PPS rate development.
• Configure and optimize financial systems, EHRs, and accounting structures for accurate reporting.
• Support the development of operational budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare finance.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, budgeting, and reimbursement systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (implied by US-specific benefits and regulatory focus).

Nice to have

• Direct experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
• Exposure to EHRs such as Epic, NextGen, eCW, or Athena.
• Experience with ERPs like Sage, MIP, Great Plains, or Quickbooks.
