TL;DR

Regional Channel Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Serve as technical advisor to channel partners (VARs, MSPs, Integrators) empowering them to position, demonstrate, and deploy hirify.global's security platform with an accent on OT/IoT security, Cloud Security (CNAPP), and Identity Exposure. Focus on conducting partner enablement trainings, supporting joint sales PoVs/PoCs, designing integrated security workflows, and creating technical assets like demo scripts and reference architectures.

Location: US Remote (Chicago, Illinois)

Salary: $114,500 - $152,500 USD

What you will do

  • Conduct technical training sessions and workshops to certify partner engineers on specialized topics like OT/IoT security, Cloud Security, and Identity Exposure.
  • Assist partners in discovery calls, demos, PoVs, and PoCs to validate product efficacy in complex environments.
  • Consult on designing security workflows integrating with SIEM, SOAR, and ticketing tools; build packaged services like managed vulnerability services.
  • Lead discussions on vulnerability assessments, risk prioritization, and attack surface management.
  • Act as technical bridge to product teams; develop channel-specific assets like demo scripts, reference architectures, and battle cards.
  • Educate on cyber threats, zero-days, and compliance (CIS, NIST, GDPR); represent at events and summits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Partner Engineering, or Technical Consulting in cybersecurity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • Deep knowledge of Cyber Exposure Lifecycle, Zero Trust, MITRE ATT&CK
  • Hands-on cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), infrastructure misconfigurations
  • AI-driven threat detection, GenAI/LLMs for automation (Python, Bash)
  • Packet analysis, firewall config, complex networks; willingness to travel 30-50%
  • Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security Specialty
