What you will do

  • Process monthly payroll for employees in UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Australia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and audit EOR payroll via Remote, flag discrepancies, and manage year-end activities and vendor relationships.
  • Perform reconciliations, prepare GL journal entries, and produce reports for Finance and People leadership.
  • Own HRIS-to-payroll workflows from BambooHR, support configurations, integrations, and data integrity projects.
  • Administer country-specific benefits, handle employee inquiries, and contribute to process improvements using AI tools.
  • Cross-train with US payroll counterpart and collaborate with tax agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in payroll with hands-on experience in at least two of UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Australia.
  • Knowledge of country-specific regulations: PAYE/RTI, Dutch wage tax, Czech contributions, Australian STP/superannuation.
  • Experience with EOR providers like Remote; skilled in BambooHR or similar HRIS.
  • Strong reconciliation and data skills, attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines across time zones.
  • Clear communicator able to explain payroll to non-experts; collaborative with high accuracy and discretion.

Nice to have

  • SOC 2 or ISO audit support experience.
  • Global benefits administration familiarity.
  • US payroll exposure for cross-training.
  • Second European language proficiency.
  • CIPP or equivalent certification.
