What you will do

• Review and disposition guideline exception requests, ensuring accurate communication of terms within Encompass.
• Coordinate and monitor communications between sales, underwriting, and secondary teams to adhere to SLAs.
• Develop FAQs to identify potential guideline clarifications and training opportunities for sales and underwriting.
• Collaborate with the product development team to maintain proprietary loan products and underwriting guidelines.
• Perform guideline gap analysis against competitor offerings to identify areas for improvement.
• Document and update exception desk policies and procedures to improve scalability.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ work experience in the mortgage industry or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience with Non-QM mortgages (preferred).
• Experience with Encompass software (preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
