What you will do
- Partner with EMEA and US Sales as the technical owner for Data Feed Product opportunities from discovery to go-live.
- Run technical discovery and design validation plans (PoCs) for CTOs, Heads of Data, and Engineering Leaders.
- Facilitate complex architecture conversations involving REST, streaming (Kafka, WebSocket), and cloud delivery (S3, Snowflake, AWS PrivateLink).
- Hire, onboard, and coach a founding team of Product Specialists and Sales Enablement Managers across the US and EU.
- Codify the technical validation playbook, including reference architectures, use case libraries, and RFP templates.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate client objections and schema gaps into the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years in technical sales, with 3+ years leading or building pre-sales or solutions engineering teams.
- Proven track record of closing API or data product deals sold into banks or buy-side firms.
- Deep fluency in financial data delivery architecture (REST, Kafka, S3, Snowflake, AWS PrivateLink).
- Experience building a pre-sales function from scratch within a growth-stage company.
- Must be based in London to support the hybrid working model.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with credit asset classes such as leveraged finance, high-yield, and private credit.
- Practical experience with modern data tools like DuckDB, Polars, and Parquet.
- Exposure to MEDDPICC / MEDDICC sales frameworks.
- Prior individual contributor background in technical sales or product roles.
