Salary: $240,000 – $320,000

What you will do

• Design and build backend systems to ingest and process large volumes of social data from Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
• Develop AI-powered product experiences, including conversation inboxes, AI-suggested replies, and social conversation summarization.
• Optimize infrastructure for AI workloads and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across data pipelines.
• Lead technical architecture by writing design documents and guiding infrastructure and frontend decisions.
• Mentor engineers and establish strong engineering culture, development practices, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing, building, and operating production systems across backend, frontend, or full-stack.
• Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.
• Experience building reliable data pipelines on external APIs or complex, data-rich web applications using React.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Palo Alto, USA.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers and shaping engineering culture.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and end-to-end responsibility.

• Experience with high-scale data pipelines or real-time data processing systems.
• Experience building AI-powered user interfaces or LLM-integrated product features.
• Experience building analytics dashboards or data-heavy interfaces.
