Forward Deployed Engineer

TL;DR

Forward Deployed Engineer (Federal Security): Deploy and integrate hirify.global in classified mission environments, build plugins, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows with an accent on operational impact and security. Focus on prototyping capabilities, debugging complex systems in constrained environments, and iterating based on operator feedback.

Location: United States, U.S. Citizenship required, active TS/SCI clearance preferred or ability to obtain, travel approximately one week per month onsite with customers

Salary: $130,000 - $230,000 USD

What you will do

• Work directly with defense and intelligence organizations to understand and solve operational problems
• Deploy and integrate hirify.global in classified and mission-critical environments
• Build plugins, integrations, and automations for operational workflows
• Prototype new capabilities quickly and iterate based on operator feedback
• Debug complex systems in constrained environments
• Shape the hirify.global platform evolution based on mission needs

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance (active TS/SCI preferred)
• Meet eligibility for access to export-controlled information (EAR and ITAR)
• Strong engineering ability (Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar)
• Comfort working across full stack from infrastructure to applications
• Ability to solve open-ended technical problems
• Strong communication skills with engineers and operators
• Willingness to travel ~1 week per month

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD, IC, or national security organizations
• Experience deploying systems in secure or classified environments
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, distributed systems, and APIs
• Experience building integrations or operational tooling
