Forward Deployed Engineer (AI/Cybersecurity)

Salary: $200,000 – $320,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Partner with customers to design and implement custom telemetry integrations and data ingestion pipelines.
• Build bespoke detection, analytics capabilities, and automation workflows tailored to specific customer needs.
• Extend the endpoint agent to ensure flawless operation in specialized or performance-constrained infrastructure.
• Develop full-stack solutions including custom dashboards, API integrations, and frontend experiences.
• Translate field insights and customer feedback into product requirements for the R&D teams.
• Support customers through deployment, troubleshooting, and long-term optimization.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering skills with React, TypeScript, Rust, and Python.
• Deep understanding of Windows and/or macOS internals, including process management and memory architecture.
• Experience building data adapters, API integrations, and custom telemetry collection.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges in customer-facing environments.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services, solutions engineering, or early-stage startups.
• Background in security operations, incident response, or red teaming.
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint security.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Experience building high-performance native software with resource constraints.
