What you will do

• Process medical ROI requests efficiently utilizing hirify.global software applications
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues to maintain compliance
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations to complete the ROI process
• Provide professional customer service in person, via phone, and through email
• Organize documentation and perform clerical tasks to ensure effective department operation

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Staten Island, NY, USA
• HS Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• 2+ years of medical record experience
• 2+ years of clerical or office work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations related to Protected Health Information

Nice to have

• RHIT certification
• Experience working within a healthcare setting
