What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Act as the operations manager for the designated Patient Service Center (PSC) and oversee the phlebotomy program.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification, reporting discrepancies to product management leadership.
• Manage PSC vendors and phlebotomy equipment, including heavy lifting of supplies (up to 50 lbs).
• Monitor blood draw distribution, handle customer feedback, and manage scheduling and small escalations.
• Report KPIs to product management leadership on a biweekly basis.

Requirements

• Must be based in St. Louis, MO (this is an on-site position).
• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• 5+ years of high-level customer care experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Certification (required if mandated by state regulations).
• Ability to complete HIPAA/PHI privacy and security training within 30 days of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams.
• BS/BA degree.
• Bilingual language skills.
