What you will do

• Develop new investment ideas and provide advice to private banking clients and colleagues to generate returns.
• Conduct market research and analyze data on business cycles, economics, and asset forecasts.
• Liaise with external parties to source and structure tailored investment products.
• Make buy/sell decisions on investment portfolios in the absence of the department head.
• Adhere to organizational policies, processes, and service standards in all customer interactions.
• Manage self in line with bank’s people management practices.

Requirements

• At least 7 years in private banking or asset management as investment advisor or portfolio manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent.
• Understanding of financial markets, drivers, instruments, economics, and forecasting.
• Strong relationship management skills and technical knowledge; ability to explain complex info simply.
• Written and spoken English.
