What you will do

• Lead the preparation and finalization of IFRS financial statements for Group entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage statutory audit cycles with Big 4 and tier-2 firms, owning deliverables and partner relationships.
• Prepare and review regulatory submissions, including DFSA PIB Annual Returns and CySEC IFR/CRR returns.
• Design and deliver AI-driven automation for reconciliation, reporting, and tax workflows using custom prompts and API integrations.
• Monitor regulatory capital, support injection planning, and remediate shortfalls.
• Provide finance input on EMIR/MiFIR reporting and analyze P&L for CFD/FX and liquidity activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance, audit, or accounting.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with CySEC or DFSA-regulated entities (PIB Annual Return, Category 2/3A capital adequacy).
• Experience working with CFD, FX, brokerage, or institutional liquidity provision firms.
• Mandatory AI capability: sophisticated daily use of tools like Claude/ChatGPT and ability to build custom workflows via APIs/MCP.
• English: C1 level (Excellent written and spoken proficiency).

Nice to have

• Big 4 audit training (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC).
• Additional certifications such as CFA or ADIT.
• Experience with MiCA and EU crypto/digital asset regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, VBA, or Power Automate for finance automation.
• Prior experience in regulatory required positions (DFSA, CySEC, or FCA).
