What you will do

• Manage bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journals, and general ledger accuracy
• Prepare monthly client invoicing and manage accounts receivable for cash flow
• Produce service line profitability reports on revenue, costs, and margins
• Track budgets, perform variance analysis, and highlight risks for leadership
• Maintain CAPEX/OPEX classification, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
• Ensure compliance with Australian tax, payroll (BAS, IAS, superannuation), and support closes with external accountants

Requirements

• CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting Australian entities, including GST, payroll, and compliance
• Strong hands-on background in bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting
• Experience with cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero) and expense tools
• High attention to detail, reconciliation, and data accuracy skills
• Ability to work independently remotely
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills
