AU Intermediate Bookkeeper

TL;DR

AU Intermediate Bookkeeper (Australia): Support daily financial and administrative operations including data entry, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and employee records management using business management software with an accent on accurate accounting records and compliance. Focus on processing payments, preparing reports, and job costing for Australian business environments.

Location: WFH or Hybrid (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga or Cebu, Philippines). Work schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PH time).

What you will do

• Perform data entry and coding of financial transactions including bank charges and fees
• Process and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly bank statements
• Manage invoicing, job tracking, and employee records in compliance with procedures
• Support accounts payable/receivable tasks and prepare payment runs/customer statements
• Utilize business management software like Jim2 for financial and administrative data
• Liaise with departments for job costing and prepare internal reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
• At least 3 years experience in accounting, finance support, or administration
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial records
• Familiarity with ERP/job management systems; Jim2 highly advantageous in Australian environments
• Exposure to Cin7 or Sage beneficial
• Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and MS Excel/Word proficiency
