What you will do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations for multiple entities using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor billing and generating P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Administer corporate card spending and categorize transactions via Ramp to ensure sync with QBO.
• Process payroll and manage employee/contractor records and onboarding within Gusto.
• Track financial KPIs and provide regular summaries to the owner to flag critical issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting VA, or finance support.
• Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Ramp, and Gusto is essential.
• Must be based in the Philippines or South Africa.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage finances across multiple entities independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S.-based businesses remotely.
• Familiarity with accounting for real estate, rental properties, or the construction industry.
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
• Experience with tools like Bill.com, Stripe, or Expensify.
