TL;DR

Delivery Operations Lead (Healthcare): Create and execute operational excellence roadmap for largest healthcare AI engagements with an accent on building operating cadences, KPIs, rollout strategies, and cross-functional orchestration. Focus on driving user adoption in complex hospital environments, translating ground truth feedback into actionable improvements, and scaling teams from small to large while maintaining lightweight, impactful processes.

New York City. Expect 50-75% of weeks onsite with healthcare customers outside of New York depending on engagement phase.

What you will do

  • Create and manage engagement's operating system: trackers, decision logs, rituals, onboarding docs, support channels.
  • Set weekly rhythms including standups, syncs, retros; codify learnings into hirify.global-wide playbooks.
  • Own operational KPIs end-to-end, weekly ops reviews, staffing asks, and onboarding for rapid productivity.
  • Drive rollout plans unit-by-unit, adoption strategies via comms, training, floor walks; triage blockers daily.
  • Build feedback infrastructure from end-users to team, translate into backlog actions and cadence changes.
  • Make strategy tradeoffs legible, own prioritization artifacts to align on shifts.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years operating inside or alongside healthcare delivery systems (health system ops, healthcare software delivery, consulting, payer ops, or embedded teams); non-healthcare experience not a substitute.
  • Experience running programs with P&L/budget accountability (15+ people, $5M+).
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare workflows to push back on feasibility.
  • Extreme ownership, pride in operational craft (cadences, KPI trackers, escalations).
  • Comfortable in-the-weeds execution and high-bandwidth communication.
  • Willing to spend 50-75% of weeks onsite with customers.

Nice to have

  • Operations in large health systems (1,000+ beds) or scaled healthcare software delivery.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data/integration (Redox, HL7/FHIR, EHR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with workforce tools (UKG, Kronos, Workday) or scheduling workflows.
  • Track record building adopted playbooks/templates/operating systems.
