A leading independent organization specializing in cost management, quantity surveying, project management, and advisory services within the built environment sector.

What you will do

  • Lead the billing function and set strategic goals and operational priorities across UK and Europe.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline global billing operations.
  • Develop and implement Billing SOPs, international policies, and best practices.
  • Manage a team consisting of 5 Team Leads and 15 FTEs.
  • Ensure compliance with global VAT laws, international invoicing requirements, and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with finance, compliance, and legal teams to support audits and internal reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within an international company.
  • Proven experience leading transformational billing functions.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, including international legal billing standards and VAT.
  • Experience contributing to ERP implementations, enhancements, or upgrades.
  • Must be based in or able to work in London (Hybrid).

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
