TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech): Driving new business acquisition and owning the full sales cycle for a secure Virtual Data Room (VDR) platform with an accent on outbound prospecting and engaging corporate decision-makers in Germany. Focus on building a robust pipeline from scratch, closing deals within the Finance and Legal sectors, and expanding the company's footprint in the DACH region.

Location: Based in Berlin or within a realistic commuting distance for regular in-person client meetings

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle in Germany, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Execute outbound prospecting through cold outreach, networking, and in-person meetings.
  • Build strategic relationships with decision-makers in financial institutions and advisory firms.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Inside Sales to optimize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide market feedback to product management and participate in M&A community events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of success in B2B direct sales or business development within SaaS, fintech, or professional services.
  • Proven hunter mindset with experience building pipelines from scratch and meeting quotas.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and C1+/native-level fluency in German.
  • Based in Berlin or within commuting distance for regular in-person meetings.
  • Strong business communication and persuasive pitching skills.

Nice to have

  • Background in M&A, VDR, or information security.
  • Experience selling to executive-level stakeholders in finance or legal sectors.
  • Additional European language proficiency.
