TL;DR
Business Development Manager (Training and Technology): Develop and implement strategies for new business opportunities integrating technology with industrial cranes with an accent on market growth, sales of training/hardware/subscriptions, and distributor training programs. Focus on achieving revenue targets, analyzing market trends, conducting demos, and creating modular training content.
Location: Springfield, Ohio, United States. Must be able to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally, primarily US and Canada.
Salary: USD 99,750 yearly

What you will do
- Develop strategies for technology integration with industrial cranes and grow business through service distributors.
- Achieve revenue targets via training sales, fieldbus hardware, remote data subscriptions, and partnerships.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, technical consultations, and respond to RFPs/bids.
- Provide training to distributors/end users on fieldbus, software, apps, and best practices.
- Manage distributor training programs, content development, and budget across learning channels.
- Create technical content for distributors and monitor market trends/competitors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, engineering, sales, or equivalent.
- 3–7 years in business development, sales, technical content, or application engineering.
- Strong electrical knowledge, PC skills, Excel proficiency.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, negotiation, analytical, and strategic skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work in teams autonomously, and travel up to 60%.
Nice to have
- Experience with Articulate, LMS, CRM systems.
- Fieldbus and IoT experience.
