TL;DR
Territory Sales Manager (Fiberon): Growing and maintaining relationships with distributors, dealers, and construction professionals to achieve sales, margin, and market share goals with an accent on optimizing local distribution and driving product awareness. Focus on executing annual business plans, conducting joint business planning meetings, and delivering product presentations to diverse audiences.
Location: Field-based in Charleston, SC, United States. Must reside within this core geography. Regular travel required, approximately 2 overnights per month.
Salary: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD

What you will do
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, margin, and expense goals
- Increase market share through dealer share gains, product placement, and builder adoption
- Identify, acquire, and retain key dealer and contractor accounts to build brand loyalty
- Optimize local distribution strategies and strengthen distributor relationships
- Develop and execute annual business plans with Regional Sales Manager
- Conduct Joint Business Planning meetings and deliver product presentations in-person and virtually
- Track pipeline, territory coverage, and customer engagement using CRM tools
- Provide competitive intelligence to inform strategies
Requirements
- 4+ years of outside sales experience in building materials, particularly contractor and builder sales through distribution and lumberyards
- Experience with pull-through selling and influencing product selection at contractor level
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Previous CRM experience and/or professional sales training
