What you will do

• Support facility design, operation, and maintenance for Plutonium Facilities.
• Prepare complex engineering analyses applying broad and diversified engineering principles.
• Perform conventional design and analysis within assigned electrical or civil/structural disciplines.
• Provide construction and project support for DOE/NNSA programs.
• Lead projects and supervise the work of other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum 9 years of practical work experience in the field.
• Expert knowledge of DOE/NNSA complex codes, standards, and criteria (ASCE, ASME, NQA-1, IBC, IEBC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC).
• Proven experience in design package development and use of CAD or mark-up software.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Ability to receive and hold a DOE Q clearance and participate in the Human Reliability Program (HRP).
