TL;DR
Manufacturing Engineer (Nuclear): Support the design and manufacturing of Neutral Beam Confinement systems with an accent on engineering deliverables, supplier management, and technical compliance. Focus on overseeing stainless steel component production, ensuring adherence to nuclear regulations, and coordinating onsite testing.
Location: Barcelona, Spain. Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.

What you will do
- Support the design and manufacturing of Neutral Beam Confinement Systems, including the Neutral Beam Vessel.
- Review engineering and manufacturing deliverables, such as procedures and reports.
- Control and verify project requirements and manage technical documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate and attend activities at supplier and subcontractor premises, including materials mechanical testing.
- Act as the primary interface with suppliers to monitor performance, on-time delivery, and quality.
- Ensure adherence to specifications and standards during both engineering and production phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Nuclear Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in manufacturing stainless steel components under nuclear regulation or pressure equipment directive (PED).
- Eligibility to work in the EU.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience with RCC (-M/-MR/-MRx) for manufacturing and material procurement.
- Experience with welded steel components compliant with RCC-MR or ASME.
- Exposure to austenitic stainless steel welding technologies (TIG, SAW) and welding engineering.
- Knowledge of volumetric non-destructive examination techniques (RT, UT).
- Internal Welding Engineering certification.
