What you will do

• Provide compliance guidance for imports including product classification, country of origin, trade agreements, marking, labeling, antidumping, and transportation requirements.
• Maintain accuracy of product-related import data in systems and perform audits for CTPAT program.
• Execute and report on global security initiatives for Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism.
• Support Import Operations with CBP and PGA transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare protests.
• Request U.S. Customs binding rulings and monitor regulatory changes.
• Develop compliance tracking tools and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, International Business, or related field highly preferred
• Customs broker license
• Minimum 3-5 years experience with customs house broker and/or importer
• Strong knowledge of HTSUS, CFRs, CBP directives and bulletins
• Understanding of import process from origin to post-entry.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets for large data sets and effective communication.
