What you will do

• Apply statutory and regulatory requirements to real-world claims scenarios across insurance products.
• Conduct targeted legal and regulatory research to provide operationally focused guidance to claims partners.
• Support complex claim investigations in collaboration with Claims, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Review estate documents such as trusts, powers of attorney, and court orders for compliant claim determinations.
• Assist with Market Conduct exams and draft responses for state insurance departments.
• Develop training materials and analyze operational data to identify performance improvement trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal research, regulatory compliance, or insurance operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Must be based in the US and eligible to work (implied by 401k and US state regulation requirements).

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal background.
• Experience with West Law or other legal research tools.
• Familiarity with state insurance regulations and claims processing.
