Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: This role is categorized as onsite. The selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis in Wentzville, Missouri.

What you will do

• Develop, status, and analyze Manufacturing Master Schedules to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues.
• Optimize sequence of operations and work flow.
• Create crew plans to ensure resources are properly allocated and utilized effectively.
• Create metrics to monitor schedule progress and help identify risk areas.
• Work to improve efficiencies through waste elimination and process improvements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to manufacturing and maintenance team members, production supervisors and production associates.

Requirements

• Experience working in manufacturing with a background in Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in documentation of Standardized Work procedures.
• Experience in implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of time study and motion analysis.
• Ability to adapt to different interpersonal styles and communication methods.
• Self-motivated individual with Continuous Improvement focus.

Nice to have

• 2 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of computer aided drafting tools.
• Previous experience with project management and time management.
• Previous experience working in a Union Environment or Bargaining Unit.
