What you will do

• Analyze automated assembly workflows, line balance, and workstation performance to improve throughput.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods.
• Design equipment layouts, material flow, and workstation configurations for new or modified lines.
• Support automation upgrades and the optimization of automated assembly cells.
• Lead 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with NPI teams to optimize manufacturability from design through production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering.
• Must be able to work on-site in Florence, Kentucky.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process documentation.

• Experience with automated assembly, robotics, or electronics manufacturing.
