What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality.
• Design and oversee the implementation of automation systems and equipment to improve manufacturing operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and defects.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including setup matrices and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and design for manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing costs and increasing overall productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology.
• Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of automation equipment such as scanners, vision systems, or automated placement equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship now or in the future).
• Ability to work on a manufacturing shopfloor, including physical requirements like lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for 8+ hours.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and lean manufacturing principles (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated ability in electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Experience in creating standard work instructions and process documentation.
