Manufacturing Engineer II

TL;DR

Manufacturing Engineer II (Manufacturing): Analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequences, specifications, and equipment for production/assembly of new and existing products with an accent on efficiency, safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Focus on hands-on factory floor issue resolution, process improvements, failure investigations, and capital projects execution.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on identification and resolution of factory floor manufacturing issues.
• Participate in sales order kickoffs, review manufacturing instructions, and verify or design tooling/equipment.
• Lead process-related failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage status communications with management and customers.
• Identify and implement process, flow, and tooling improvements for productivity, quality, and reliability.
• Aid in design reviews for manufacturability and lead process failure modes analysis and hazards analysis.
• Develop and execute capital appropriation requests for projects.

Requirements

• BS in engineering or technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in technical and manufacturing environment with strong project management skills.
• Experience in weld process development, validation, and Design of Experiments.
• Knowledge of statistical software (Minitab/jmp) and Process Excellence tools (LEAN, Six Sigma).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
• US citizenship or US Person status required (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals) due to export controls.
