Field Service Engineer (Security Screening)

What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain Smiths equipment in the field, providing customer training as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to meet daily service repair needs.
• Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work promptly.
• Manage the repair parts cycle, including ordering and installation of components.
• Provide technical support to clients and peers and participate in site surveys or special projects.
• Calibrate tools and test equipment while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Education/qualification in engineering (MBO 4 level in electrical, mechanical, or electronics) or relevant experience.
• Direct experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Advanced English and Dutch skills (both oral and written).
• Eligibility for Dutch security clearance.
• Valid driving license.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
