Salary: $150,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic partnerships, from opportunity identification to execution.
• Serve as the primary deal lead for collaboration, licensing, and technology access agreements.
• Assess partnership opportunities based on technical feasibility, strategic alignment, and commercial value.
• Negotiate complex deal terms, including exclusivity, milestones, and financial arrangements.
• Manage active partnerships post-execution to ensure delivery against defined objectives.
• Collaborate with R&D, strategy, and product teams to integrate external innovations into business priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or licensing within life sciences or biotech.
• Proven track record of negotiating complex, high-value partnership and licensing agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional deal teams in matrixed environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and executive communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% domestically, with occasional international travel.
