Team Manager, Sales Development (SaaS): Managing and coaching a team of Sales Development Representatives to generate high-quality leads and pipeline for the GTM team with an accent on performance management, SDR onboarding, and regional KPI optimization. Focus on developing sales processes, mentoring reps, and collaborating with global stakeholders to drive new business growth.

Location: Onsite in Tokyo, Japan

What you will do

  • Manage and coach a team of SDRs to book business and drive pipeline for the GTM team.
  • Monitor and analyze key KPIs including calls, emails, and meetings booked.
  • Hire, onboard, and provide ongoing training to ensure SDR growth and skill development.
  • Define sales strategy and develop the sales process for the regional pod.
  • Collaborate with Data, CRM, Field Marketing, and Sales Operations teams.
  • Build strong relationships with global GTM sales stakeholders, primarily in the US.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
  • Must be based in Tokyo (Onsite).
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales development or sales, with 1-2 years in a management role.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in B2B SaaS companies.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
  • Proven track record in both inbound and outbound lead development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesloft or similar sales engagement tools.
  • Knowledge of the Japanese market.
  • Additional language skills.
