TL;DR

Credit Specialist - Analyst (Finance): Perform accurate credit investigation analysis, verifications, and audits to complete loan funding processes with an accent on compliance, risk mitigation, and fraud detection. Focus on analyzing loan applications against lending standards, verifying applicant information, and ensuring quick response times for dealer partners.

Location: Based out of Irving office (Texas, USA). Work either 10 AM - 7 PM CST shift or 4 day/week 10 hour shift with Saturdays required. Must be flexible to work any shift during 9am - 10pm EST.

What you will do

• Perform credit investigation analysis, verifications, and audits to complete funding processes within standards.
• Review and verify applicant information and financial records adhering to policies and guidelines.
• Analyze loan applications against lending standards, detect fraud, and mitigate risks.
• Handle manual fraud reviews, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues.
• Make calls for identity verification and communicate with dealership partners on application status.
• Collaborate with teams, understand loan programs, and explain declines using decisioning tools.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in Loan Processing, Underwriting, or Funding (preferably auto or powersports)
• High School or equivalent degree
• Must work every Saturday and be flexible for shifts 9am-10pm EST
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask under pressure
• Basic understanding of loan processing and required documents
• Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Slack, email, Google Sheets, proprietary LOS
