What you will do

• Perform fundamental credit analysis to assess the financial strength of Private Equity borrowers and counterparts.
• Review and approve loan transactions and determine appropriate regulatory ratings.
• Coordinate with Legal, Operations, and Compliance departments to approve derivatives business and establish risk mitigants.
• Analyze risks inherent in lending and derivative products used in firm transactions.
• Conduct regular sector analysis to assess portfolio concentration and emerging trends.
• Monitor, manage, and report exposures at the counterpart, product, and portfolio levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record.
• 0-2 years of experience in a financial services role, preferably with Fund, Hedge Fund, or Private Equity experience.
• Strong understanding of investment banking products, specifically loan products and derivatives.
• Demonstrable track record of achievement and independent decision-making.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
