What you will do

• Architect and implement robust agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, and intelligent orchestration patterns.
• Drive the technical vision for the AI layer and core AI infrastructure to ensure scalability.
• Design and execute experimentation frameworks to benchmark model value and iterate on prompts.
• Own the reliability and scalability of AI subsystems, implementing systematic testing for LLM responses.
• Collaborate with Product Management and the CPTO to translate business vision into technical specifications.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex subsystem troubleshooting and architectural reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building AI/ML or data-driven systems in production SaaS environments.
• Proven experience moving LLM work past prototypes into production using eval frameworks and monitoring.
• Working knowledge of multi-agent orchestration frameworks, RAG architectures, and vector stores.
• Must be based in Toronto and able to work from the office 3x per week.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping autonomous workflows where LLMs reason across multiple steps and adapt behavior.
• Previous experience working within the email ecosystem or high-scale communication platforms.
• Proven track record of rapid prototyping and leveraging data to pivot features quickly.
