What you will do

• Own end-to-end system architecture including microservices, data flows, dependencies, and failure modes.
• Ensure regulatory readiness translating BAIT/DORA/BaFin into technical controls, audit support, and resilience outcomes.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary technology teams with direction, prioritisation, and guidance.
• Hire and onboard key engineers, shape roles, and manage knowledge transfer.
• Own production operations including incidents, monitoring, on-call, post-mortems, and reliability improvements on AWS and CI/CD.
• Manage releases, changes, and complex projects balancing regulatory obligations, risk, cost, and timelines.
• Provide decision proposals to stakeholders and handle technical escalations with leadership and auditors.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and owning end-to-end architectures in complex microservice environments.
• Hands-on production operations experience: incident leadership, reliability, and ops ownership.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, security, provisioning, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams with coaching and roadmap alignment.
• Work in regulated environments with frameworks like BaFin, BAIT, or DORA.
• Clear communication of technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders including auditors.
