Manager, Accounting Advisory Services - Nonprofit Industry Clients (Nonprofit Accounting)

Location: Remote

Salary: $107,000–$160,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead accounting advisory engagements for nonprofit organization clients.
• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and analyze benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Present reporting packages and findings to clients and provide technical accounting support on complex issues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
• Coordinate US and offshore engagement teams while coaching staff and senior accountants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Recent, in-depth experience with federal grant reporting and processing for nonprofit organizations, including Uniform Guidance compliance.
• 4–6 years of experience in nonprofit industry and public accounting, such as audit or outsourced accounting.
• 3+ years of experience managing associates or teams.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, planning, prioritization, organization, project management, and relationship building.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or another professional certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct.
• Ability to adopt new technologies and develop team members.
