What you will do

• Own preparation and review of monthly financial statements and lead the close process ensuring timely, accurate GAAP-compliant results
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Lead annual audit process partnering with external auditors to deliver clean results with minimal findings
• Drive process optimization across accounting workflows to improve efficiency and support scalability
• Contribute hands-on to journal entries, technical accounting, special projects, and team mentoring

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including 3+ years in supervisory or leadership role
• Experience in SaaS environment with strong GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition understanding
• Proven ability to own financial statement preparation and hands-on close process
• Strong proficiency in accounting systems, advanced Excel, and SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CLV)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication
