What you will do
- Lead the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Manage revenue recognition schedules, contract classifications, and standalone selling price (SSP) analysis.
- Review customer contracts to ensure revenue treatment compliance with ASC 606.
- Implement AI tools to automate contract reviews, performance obligation identification, and revenue memo drafting.
- Perform in-depth revenue analytics and support audit readiness through detailed documentation.
- Partner with Sales, Legal, and FP&A to provide guidance on deal structuring and financial forecasting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and revenue recognition tools (e.g., RightRev).
- Ability to leverage AI tools and automation technologies in accounting workflows.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without requiring new sponsorship.
