TL;DR
Business Development Executive (SaaS/EdTech): Exploring existing, new, and alternative sales channels to promote solutions with an accent on identifying and qualifying business opportunities. Focus on building robust pipelines, utilizing MEDDPICC framework, managing long sales cycles, and closing deals through strategic relationships.
Location: Remote (USA), must be based on the East Coast, preferably in Michigan, Ohio, Virginia or Maryland. Travel required as needed.

What you will do
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through inbound leads, proactive prospecting, and self-generated outreach.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using the MEDDPICC framework, with accurate forecasting and dynamic management.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and business cases while handling end-to-end sales processes and closing long-cycle deals.
- Participate in virtual events, network actively, and collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams.
- Monitor competitive landscape, position products effectively, and maintain CRM records for all sales activity.
- Present reports on growth trends, challenges, and successes, contributing to team meetings and planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years B2B sales experience in SaaS (preferably EdTech), with proven track record in new business acquisition and revenue generation.
- Demonstrable history of meeting targets and delivering excellent customer sales experience across verticals.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM, proficient in Google Suite or MS Office.
Nice to have
- Understanding of digital products and services.
- Proficiency in MEDDPICC methodology.
- Experience leveraging social media like LinkedIn for B2B branding.
