TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS/Edtech): Selling fundraising solutions to higher education institutions with an accent on strategic account management and high-value deal closing. Location: Remote-first role based in the U.S. Strong preference for candidates residing in North Central states (Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, or South Dakota). Travel of 30-35% is required.

What you will do

  • Sell hirify.global solutions to four-year colleges and large universities, targeting senior executives (VP and Chancellor level).
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracting, including new logo acquisition and installed base sales.
  • Develop and execute a clear territory plan to achieve and exceed annual quotas.
  • Maintain a rigorous and disciplined sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing and partner success teams to ensure client value and impact.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing 6-figure deals.
  • Experience navigating complex selling environments within large institutions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in value-first selling methodologies for senior executives.

Nice to have

  • Startup experience and the ability to operate effectively in less structured environments.
  • Knowledge of fundraising and development roles within educational institutions.
  • Experience with non-profit fundraising, crowdfunding, or peer-to-peer fundraising.
  • Volunteer experience in alumni engagement or school fundraising.
