TL;DR

Sales Executive (Connected Technology): Leading sales activities for Testing & Certification services for consumer technology customers in the North of the UK with an accent on new business development and lead generation. Focus on identifying market trends, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and conducting face-to-face customer visits.

Location: Remote (North of the UK), requiring 8-10 customer visits per month

What you will do

  • Perform lead generation and prospecting via cold calling, networking, and social selling.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to uncover prospect pain points and qualify budget and authority.
  • Manage negotiations and finalize pricing to secure contracts and meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records and sales forecasts using Salesforce CRM.
  • Engage customers both remotely and face-to-face to provide TIC service solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical engineers and sales support to close specialized deals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field or direct sales with a strong hunter/new business background.
  • Must be based in or able to cover the North of the UK.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) field or Consumer Technology industries.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for regular customer visits.
