What you will do
- Identify and win new customers in food retail and hospitality through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, referrals, and networking
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified mPOS opportunities, conducting discovery calls, product demos, and tailored proposals
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature, negotiating commercials and closing profitable deals
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity levels using CRM tools to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
- Provide market feedback to inform product roadmap and collaborate with onboarding and support teams for smooth customer go-live
- Stay informed on hospitality, retail, and payments industry trends
Requirements
- UK-based, able to work from Birmingham/West Midlands or remotely within UK
- Proven new business sales experience selling mPOS, EPOS, or payment solutions into hospitality or food retail
- Strong understanding of hospitality or retail operations
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- CRM proficiency and full sales-cycle ownership
Nice to have
- Exposure to multi-site hospitality or food retail operators
- Understanding of integrated payments or merchant services
