What you will do
- Provide in-depth expertise on federal HR policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Workday PaaS configurations and processes align with federal mandates and best practices.
- Translate federal HR requirements into Workday PaaS specifications and validate designs for accuracy.
- Serve as primary liaison between HR stakeholders and implementation team for clear communication.
- Support testing, training, and change management initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years federal HR experience in policy, operations, or advisory roles
- 3+ years with cloud HR systems, including at least 1 Workday PaaS HCM or comparable implementation
- Strong knowledge of federal HR regulations (Title 5, OPM, merit principles, SES, pay/leave, labor relations)
- Experience defining HR business rules, SOPs, and requirements
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent)
- Masters Degree
Nice to have
- 12+ years federal HR experience, including HQ/policy or enterprise transformation
- 2 full-cycle Workday PaaS HCM implementations for federal agencies
- Advanced HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) or federal HR training (OPM courses)
- Experience with federal personnel systems (NFC, DFAS, shared services)
- Leadership in cross-bureau HR standardization or modernization
