Salary: $101,000 - $127,000 USD

What you will do
- Adhere to underwriting guidelines, execute pricing strategies, and use authority to accept, reject, or mitigate risks.
- Review and analyze risk characteristics on applications, renewals, and change requests.
- Approve/decline applications, issue coverage, and prepare referrals for risks exceeding authority.
- Document underwriting files with risk analysis and pricing justification.
- Cultivate relationships with producers, collaborate with the team, and respond to customer needs.
- Process accounts from quotes to policy issuance and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Workers Compensation underwriting or related insurance experience.
- Experience underwriting risks in construction, hospitality, real estate, manufacturing.
- Strong customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively, embrace change, and learn industry-specific software.

- CPCU, CIC, CRIS, Property & Casualty Brokers License.
