What you will do

• Actively introduce specialty products to new and legacy agencies.
• Determine eligibility of commercial insurance submissions.
• Make underwriting decisions using tools and reports to ensure profitable book with loss ratio under 40%.
• Discuss quotes and coverage with producing agents.
• Review driver MVRs, client inspections, background, and financial status.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to Underwriting Assistants.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years insurance account administration with commercial auto and package business experience.
• Proven insurance underwriting knowledge in commercial auto and package risks.
• Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related (or equivalent experience).
• Insurance industry educational certification(s).
• Home state Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.
