TL;DR
Project Director / Project Manager III (Public Health): Lead program execution for OMNIBUS IV task orders supporting R&D and Translational Science with an accent on planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closeout phases. Location: Remote/Hybrid (U.S.). Ability to support Government meetings as required.

What you will do
- Serve as overall project leader, ensuring timely completion of task objectives and coordinating transition from development to implementation.
- Organize and manage team resources including Steering Committees, Project Teams, and Work Groups.
- Develop high-level project plans, define objectives, success measurements, and manage communications, issue, scope, and risk strategies.
- Coordinate requirements, design documentation, execution, monitoring, closeout, and lessons learned; support meetings and status reporting to executives.
- Identify and escalate issues, evaluate cross-system impacts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data security.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in relevant field OR Bachelor’s degree plus 15 years of experience.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in a relevant field.
- Certification: Current PMP certification.
- Location: Remote/Hybrid (U.S.). Ability to support Government meetings as required.
- Clearance/Access: Ability to obtain/maintain any required access/credentials.
Nice to have
- Experience leading federal health, research support, or public sector programs.
- Familiarity with governance models, reporting cadences, and cross-functional delivery.
- Experience coordinating technical and operational teams (data, IT, admin, research support).
