TL;DR

GTM Advisory Lead: Lead GTM technology assessments for PE-backed portfolio companies preparing for sale, evaluating CRM, marketing automation, data architecture, RevOps maturity, reporting, scalability, and risk exposure. With an accent on shaping technology narratives for CIMs and buyer diligence, presenting findings to PE deal teams and executives. Focus on translating technical complexity into investor-relevant value drivers, refining frameworks, business development, and owning practice growth including revenue forecasting and P&L management.

Location: Chicago, IL, USA. Show up in person or virtually where it matters to strengthen relationships or results.

What you will do

  • Lead GTM technology assessments, evaluating CRM, marketing automation, data architecture, RevOps maturity, reporting integrity, scalability, and risk exposure.
  • Shape technology narratives for CIMs and buyer diligence, presenting findings to PE deal teams and portfolio executives.
  • Translate technical complexity into investor-relevant value drivers and risk mitigation themes.
  • Refine assessment frameworks, standardize deliverables and playbooks, improve margins through repeatable processes.
  • Support business development, proposal scoping, and PE relationship development.
  • Own revenue growth, gross margins, team hiring, offering roadmap, pricing, select client relationships, and P&L management.

Requirements

  • 7–12 years in technology consulting, private equity operations, investment banking technology diligence, or revenue operations leadership.
  • Experience interfacing with executive teams and investors.
  • Strong financial acumen, comfort discussing value creation in EBITDA terms.
  • Builder mindset, commercial instinct, structured thinking, executive presence, hungry for ownership.
