What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across marina operators, charter fleets, and boat dealerships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and RFP responses to pricing negotiations and contract execution.
  • Translate electric propulsion and battery technology into differentiated value propositions for diverse client profiles.
  • Build trust-based relationships with key industry stakeholders to maximize long-term account growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Manufacturing to capture requirements and inform the product roadmap.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory mandates regarding emission-free zones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical sales or sales engineering experience in marine, clean energy, EV, or aerospace.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex technical environments with long deal cycles.
  • Deep understanding of electric powertrain fundamentals, including battery systems and charging infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine preferred) or Business.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the recreational marine industry selling to dealerships or charter fleets.
  • Familiarity with BMS, shore power infrastructure, or NMEA 2000/0183 protocols.
  • Background in energy transition sales, such as solar, microgrids, or distributed energy resources.
  • Passion for sustainability and decarbonizing the marine sector.
