What you will do

• Identify outstanding debts and plan recovery actions for assigned accounts.
• Conduct high-volume phone outreach to customers to secure payment status.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines and structured payment plans with debtors.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer complaints.
• Update account statuses and databases regularly to ensure data accuracy.
• Escalate cases of customers unwilling or unable to pay to supervisors for legal action.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to meet collection targets.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and AS400.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
